Room Types

At Mildmay Hospital Uganda, we have multiple categories of rooms for patients to opt from, each specifically planned to suit the individual requirements while being administered the required treatment.

Every in-patient room has been designed to ensure access to sunlight. The interiors are planned to offer the patient a soothing calm surrounding and aid in patient recovery. All rooms have customized bed head panels, provision for piped medical gases, facilities for attendants, bedside nurse calling system and intercom systems.

GENERAL WARD

General Ward at Mildmay Hospital Uganda have been planned to admit 6 patients in one ward. Steps have been taken to ensure private for each admitted patient while they benefit from economical tariffs. Facilities include bedside cabinets, medical grade curtains, food trolley, bed head panel & more.

DELUXE-PRIVATE

These rooms are designed to admit two patients in the same room. Each patient bed is separated by medical grade curtains. The room has a common attached washroom for the two patients. An attendant sofa has been provided for each patient bed, ensuring the comfort of the attendant. Facilities provided include, but are not limited to, bedside cabinet, bedhead panel, piped medical gases, food trolley and nurse calling system for each patient.

EXECUTIVE PRIVATE

The spacious private rooms at Mildmay Hospital Uganda are designed to admit a single patient. The rooms have an attached washroom, a sofa-cum-bed for the attendant, television, storage cabinet, in-room tea / coffee maker in addition to the standard facilities provided in other room categories.

INTENSIVE CARE

The Intensive Care Unit is a state-of-art, technologically advanced ICU equipped with patient monitors, ventilators, centrally monitored control system, defibrillators and internationally bench-marked protocols and systems.

NEONATAL ICU

The Neonatal ICU at Mildmay Hospital Uganda is one of the finest NICU’s in the East African Region. Equipped with the best equipment and supported by a trained team of intensive care specialists, the NICU provides optimum care to admitted neonates.
